Clockwise is looking for a Head of Growth & Monetization to lead our self-serve monetization efforts and accelerate our rapid adoption by the best businesses in the world. This role will report directly to our CEO and will own the strategy, research, planning, execution, and analysis aimed at hitting ARR targets for our self-serve business.

This role combines strategic and hands on elements. You'll work cross-functionally, collaborating with Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Business Operations to build best-in-class Growth programs for Clockwise.

About you

  • Experienced: 5+ years at top tier software companies, with 2 or more as a product manager, and some experience directly on a high-performing Growth Product team. You have a deep understanding of product growth loops and self-serve business models.
  • Driven: A proven record of personally rolling up your sleeves and pushing through complex challenges to deliver on strategic priorities.
  • Collaboration: success in this function will require close and constant collaboration with Engineering, Marketing, Design, and Business Operations
  • Strong Business Acumen: you are highly analytical and entrepreneurial, capable of finding monetization opportunities with data-driven experiments. Product Sense: you love talking directly with customers in order to truly understand the why and deliver excellent product experiences.
  • Marketing Collaborator: while direct marketing experience is not required, you have built up an appreciation for product marketing through frequent collaboration.
  • Enthusiastic: You geek out on productivity tools and software that is redefining the future of work and want to help the world make time for what matters

What you'll do

  • As the Head of Growth & Monetization at Clockwise, you will report directly to the CEO and set the overall strategy for growing the Clockwise user base with a focus on monetization and self-serve ARR.
  • Lead a range of Growth and Monetization initiatives to increase conversion to paid plans and increase retention of paying customers.
  • Define, implement and evaluate metrics and goals to ensure successful outcomes for our customers and our business.
  • Formulate product strategy and create product roadmaps for growth by marrying in-depth customer research and structured data analysis.
  • Inspire the company with bold, delightful ideas, test them iteratively, drill into results, and feed the learnings back into our product development loop.
  • Prioritize ruthlessly and focus on doing fewer things better and faster.
  • Partner with a high functioning engineering, design, data & go-to-market team from Google, Dropbox, Salesforce, Twitter, Asana, Palantir to deliver the beautiful product experiences knowledge workers want and organizations need

Work location

Clockwise HQ is in the South of Market neighborhood of San Francisco; 3 minutes from CalTrain & 10 minutes from BART.

Clockwise is currently working remotely in accordance with San Francisco’s “Stay Home” ordinance. We do plan to return to our offices and are exclusively hiring candidates willing to commute to San Francisco. We offer a relocation stipend for out of state candidates.
