What you'll do

  • Have a huge impact influencing the quality of Clockwise as a product and how it is engineered
  • Architect and implement automated testing frameworks and infrastructure that enable developers to better test their code or to proactively find new regressions or bugs
  • Tune our CI/CD pipeline to get tests running both reliably and quite performantly
  • Collaborate with product teams to understand their testing needs and review plans for coverage of new functionality and surface areas
  • Set testing best practices for our engineering organization and help mentor/code review to steer how each engineer owns the testing of their code
  • Help lead the charge to ensure Clockwise is delivered with consistent quality

About you

  • You have experience working with test automation frameworks and are comfortable authoring software tools and automation scripts
  • You have experience with a variety of both functional and non-functional testing methodologies (unit, integration, acceptance, regression, performance, compatibility)
  • Preferably, you have professional experience with the technologies with which we work
  • You are excited by the challenge of designing and experimenting with new frameworks to improve our testing capabilities and coverage
  • You have experience with continuous integration environments, writing testable software, and test driven development
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in quality engineering; 5+ years of experience strongly preferred
  • You have a dedication to quality and a positive, collaborative attitude and approach to testing
  • You are extremely self-motivated; able to find opportunities for improvement and tackle them, without external direction
